Introducing R.A.R.O., our newest partner hosting institution from the Ecologists at Risk (ER) Latin America Residency Network (ER-RRAL)

We’re excited to announce that R.A.R.O., our newest partner hosting institution from the Ecologists at Risk (ER) Latin America Residency Network (ER-RRAL), has hosted their first ER-Resident, Santiago Palacio!

Santiago Palacio is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and researcher whose work bridges ecology, art, and the human condition. For years, he has documented Colombia’s biodiversity through extensive field observations of flora and fauna while participating in initiatives focused on native forest conservation, regenerative agriculture and the recovery of traditional food species. He recently finished his residency at R.A.R.O. in Bogota’!

R.A.R.O. is an international residency program that proposes an alternative model based on a broad network of studios and cultural spaces in Bogota’ and Buenos Aires, rather than a single workspace. Through this collaborative structure, more than 28 local artists’ studios and other interdependent cultural projects host residents and accompany their creative processes across the program’s various formats.

We thank the entire R.A.R.O. team for joining the network and for their commitment to creating meaningful spaces for artists to live, work, and connect. We also thank Globus and Nordic Culture Fund for making this all possible!
